Hi, I’m Joseph Agreda, I’m a programmer, a writer, designer and technology enthusiast. I have a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media from the University of Tennessee with a minor in information science. I was born and raised in Kingsport, TN, lived in Wassanaar, The Netherlands for three years in the late 90′s, and currently live in Knoxville, TN.

I’m passionate about user interaction, interface design and finely crafted hardware. I currently spend a lot of time working for UT Libraries as a programmer and IT adminstrator, but I still occasionally help out at the Tennessee Journalist as their Operations Manager. Academically I focused on electronic media, specifically in visual communications including video, photography, and layout design for both print and web. Outside of work I’m still a pretty big nerd who cares a lot about science fiction and comics, but I also enjoy getting out and about to go to conventions, ski and otherwise explore the rest of the world.
